This week is Shepherds Conference! It has been 2 years since I was last at this conference and I am looking forward to going. There are many things at this conference: Fellowship, books, food, biblical teaching, singing, and In & Out Burger. There is however one predominant theme that pervades Shepherds… The Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the Gospel (The good news of sinners offered reconciliation to God by the work of Jesus on their behalf) that makes everything else (fellowship, food, singing, etc…) a joy. Without the Gospel this would be hollow Bible teaching conference – it makes me thankful for God’s grace.
