One of the families in our team posted some free, creative ways to support Team PNG. I wanted to pass it along because it’s a way to contribute to supporting the team, by what you already spend money on! If you use Amazon or shop at Fry’s you can get involved! Follow the steps below to find out how.
1. AMAZON SMILE
The Amazon Smile program allows anyone to send a small percentage (0.5%) of their eligible Amazon purchases to a non-profit organization. Our sending church has set up an account for our team.
If you buy things on amazon anyway, please use the link below to sign up to support us. It will link you to theAmazon Smile account for “University Bible Church” which is the legal name of our sending church. If you purchase Amazon goods through Amazon Smile, Amazon will then donate 0.5% of eligible purchases to our team. It’s a small amount, but if we can get enough people to sign up, it could be another small way to raise funds without any extra costs.
2. REGISTER YOUR FRYS CARD
STEP 1: Creating an Online Fry’s Account
- NOTE: If you already have an online Fry’s account, skip to #2
- Go to https://www.frysfood.com/
topic/new-community-rewards- program - Select ‘Create an Account’.
- Under Sign-In information, enter your email and create a password. (Write down your email & password—will need it in step 2)
- Select ‘Use Card Number’.
- Enter your Fry’s V.I.P Card Number, last name and postal code.
- Under ‘Select Your Preferred Store’ enter your postal code.
- Select ‘Find Stores’.
- Choose your store then select ‘Create Account’.
- You will then be prompted to check your email for a confirmation email.
- Click the hyperlink in your email to finish creating your Online Fry’s Account.
- Continue to step #2 to register for the Fry’s Community Rewards Program of your choice.
STEP 2: Register for the Fry’s Community Rewards Program
- Go to https://www.frysfood.com/
topic/new-community-rewards- program - Select ‘Sign-In’.
- Enter your email and password then select ‘sign in’. (This will be the email and password you created in step 1)
- Select ‘My Account then select ‘Account Settings’ from drop down menu.
- Click ‘edit’ under Community Rewards. If prompted, enter personal information.
- Under Find Your Organization: Enter the NPO number: 80544 and then select ‘search’.
- Under Select Your Organization: Select box next to your organization (University Bible Church)
- Then select ‘save changes’.
- If you have registered correctly, you should now see your organization information listed under ‘Community Rewards’ on your Account Summary page.
