Lorie and the kids got their Typhoid vaccine today! The kids were all crying in the office and I had to hold the kids down. Thankfully everyone came out alive at the end of the appointment and we stopped for ice cream. Today was just another step in the journey to PNG—it is coming fast.

The last 2 months have felt so packed with blessings, hardship, excitement, and momentum towards Papua New Guinea. With the speed that we are approaching our desired departure I can almost hear the sound of kids clamoring on the jet as we head to PNG. Then again, that will be a 14 hour flight so it may go from joyful clamoring to a little crazy. Lorie has been enjoying her time with the kids being a dedicated mommy; she is an excellent homeschool teacher as well. Passports and visas. When I first heard that we would need a passport and visa, I assumed they were the same thing, obviously I am not an regular international traveler. Finisterre Vision was recently formalized as a new organization in PNG. This was an answer to prayer as we (the organization) has been trying to get this completed for some time. This formalization now allows us to apply for visas into the country. Lorie and I have passports but the kids will be getting theirs soon.
